SOUTH OF MARKET, San Francisco — San Francisco Recreation and Parks scheduled new outdoor fitness equipment at Victoria Manalo Draves Park in 2026, adding to an existing public recreation space in South of Market.
The park at Folsom and Sherman streets includes a ballfield, basketball court, play area, community garden and picnic facilities. The city’s facility notice described installation of monkey bars, balance equipment and exercise benches, with work planned between late April and late June 2026. This schedule should not be mistaken for proof that every specific device is currently available; visitors should inspect the site and signs.
The park is named for Victoria Manalo Draves, a Filipina American diver who won two gold medals at the 1948 Olympics and grew up in the neighborhood. The park honors her achievements and provides outdoor space in a dense district.
